Circus Acrobats - What can they offer?
What acrobats can offer your event can usually be split into 3 main categories, walkabout, ambient and circus acts. There is some big differences between each one so its good to know what your being offered and what your getting. Here is some information on those categories.
Circus Acts- These are stage shows usually set to music containing the acrobats best tricks and performances. These are the super high energy performances where the acrobats give there all to entertain your guests. Usually lasting around 5 minutes and best performed on a raised stage with lots of ceiling height (4m)
Walkabout - The performer would move through your audience mixing and mingling with your guests, performing acrobatic tricks along the way. Great for when you want someone to get the party started and get your crowd talking to each other. Usually can be performed for 3 x 15-20 minutes. This is not set to music and is improvised. Most of the time the acrobats will not perform there hardest tricks as these are saved for the big stage acts.
Ambient - Similar to walkabout in the sense that it is improvised and not performed to music. Ambient however is usually stationary, set in one location. With ambient there is also generally minimal interaction between the performers and the audience. Perfect for the snow globe or any acts on a podium. Usually lasting for 3 x 15 minute sets.
